Salon Policies


Cancellation Policy

We request at least a 24-hour notice to cancel an appointment in order to best serve all the guests. We ask that Bridal parties notify us no less than two weeks prior to their booked services. Bridal party cancellations two weeks prior to your appointment, will forfeit their deposit.


Payment Policy

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and cash. We are no longer able to accept personal checks as of June 1st 2018.  O’Briens Salon in Burlington also accepts American Express and Student College cards such as UVM Cat Card, St. Mikes Knight Card and the Champ Cash Card.


Deposit Policy

We require deposits for large parties such as weddings and proms.  For large parties, there is a reservation form you can fill out in our salon. We ask for a 50% deposit to hold all appointments.


Return/Exchange Policy

We do not accept returned make-up. All other product may be exchanged at the original location for store credit only.


Children Policy

As a courtesy to other salon guests, and in our efforts to offer a relaxed and professional atmosphere we ask that you are aware that it is your responsibility to watch your children at all times while in the salon.


Privacy Policy

Our highest commitment to your privacy. Your personal information is confidential. This includes your address, phone numbers and email address on file. We do not share your personal information or email with third parties. We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information. We value and respect our members’ privacy and preferred methods of receiving (or not receiving) invitations & communications from us. We will strive to deliver a valuable service that offers you – our valued member -- the highest quality, value and convenience.


Email Opt Out Policy

Each of our email communications should contain a clearly identified unsubscribe option. This option enables you to remove yourself from our email newsletters. If, at any point, you inform us that you no longer want to receive all or some email communications from our salons, we will remove you from our email invitation lists as soon as possible – but in no event later 2-3 business days after your request. In addition to the above safeguards, we will NOT sell or convey your email address to a 3rd party without your permission.
